Behind the Scenes

  It all started by rescuing our first horse..... 

Forming a partnership wasn't easy; we could work around the physical scars that made her leery, but the invisible ones from her past took much greater patience, trust and understanding than I had.  So, completely unaware, she began to mold ME, and together, we became our best selves.  We quickly began to witness the joy, serenity and authenticity she brought out in anyone that paused to interact with her. My rescue horse was rescuing people.   

Located in beautiful Fountain, Colorado, Unharnessed Potential provides Equine Assisted mental health and learning services.  We are a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by veterans with a passion for helping others and a mission to continue our service to the nation by serving those who served.
